Research published yesterday by Strava, found that coffee was the most favoured food amongst the UK Fitness Community which will come as no surprise. Most days you’ll find me pounding the streets to or from the office with my trusty Keep Cup in hand.
It seems like every day we get sent a sample of a new coffee type. Some are billed as ‘skinny coffees’, some are ‘nutritional coffee’ brands. The debate on Twitter is rife with Nutritionists and Dieticians calling out this latest coffee faze. But we want to get your verdict on these – have you tried any?
Skinny Caffe I tried this one and whilst i did like the flavour of the French Vanilla sample, i wasn’t too sure if it lived up to its claims
‘a new range of Skinny hot drinks containing a blend of natural actives and superfood ingredients proven to help boost the metabolism, boost energy, burn fat, curb food cravings and reduce bloating’
I did find, how do i put this, it made ‘things’ move faster, so i would suggest it can tackle bloating but doesn’t coffee do that anyway? The favlours are nice, French Vanilla being my favourite choice. Visit their store here theskinnycaffe.com
Vitamin Coffee claim every cup is enriched with essential vitamins and minerals, adding a nutritious kick to your coffee whilst still tasting delicious.
‘Each bag of premium ground Vitamin Coffee is made from expertly roasted beans sourced in Asia, Africa and Central America that complement the vitamin mixes to make them almost unnoticeable. The range consists of three vitamin blends: Complete, Defence and Energy, each of which offers unique health benefits’ visit the Vitamin Coffee website HERE
