People think that being vegan in Dublin can be a bit challenging, but actually with all the current and growing number of vegan cafe’s and restaurants on our streets it is becoming very easy. Not to mention that a lot of establishments are rethinking their menus and becoming more vegan & vegetarian friendly. Listed below are some of the best vegan dining establishments Dublin has to offer.

Vegan restaurants in Dublin

Best for: Breakfast, lunch & dinner (it’s an all-rounder)

With multiple different foods and flavours to choose from, Cornucopia also provides a frozen food service for you to take some of your favourite meals home, Portion sizes are HUGE, so you will be guaranteed to feel full all night after.

Best for: Dinner

Orginally starting as a pop up, the Sova food Vegan butcher now has a permanent premises on Pleasants Street, near the Iveagh Gardens. Known for it’s meat like food with amazing taste the Sova Food Vegam Butcher is a big hit for everyone.

The Happy Pear technically this is in Wicklow :)

Best For: Lunch & Dinner

After the huge success of the Happy Pear cafe/ restaurant in Greystones, Wicklow, two number one selling books with a third in the making and food such as smoothies, energy bars and soups available in Super Value nationwide, the Happy Pear has opened it’s second hub in Clondalkin in the bell tower, or as Dave and Steve now call it ‘The Vegan Tower Of Power’.

Best For: Breakfast, brunch and lunch

If you want to eat something and just feel the health with every bite, you need to get your butt to Yogism in Georges Arcade or to the twin sister cafe (Just not identical) Tang Cafe on Daweson’s Street. With homemade vegan pancakes, chia porridge and some delicious smoothies to choose form you can’t go wrong.

Best for: Pizza & dessert.

Sweet Republic is known for it’s unicorn style milkshakes and desserts, but it is also known as a big hit amongst the vegan community too… just because we don’t consume diary doesn’t mean we want to miss out on some unicorn sprinkle fun. After proving to be such a big vegan hit, Sweet Republic designed their own vegan menu specialising in pizzas, pancakes, waffles and milkshakes.
