Once we hit Autumn we immediately start to pick up little bugs like 'the sniffles', flu and sore throats. I always start this time of year by increasing my intake of vitamin C to ward off these nasties. So here's my guide to the best ways to get vitamin C into your diet.
Oranges:

Its no secret that eating more oranges or incorporating freshly squeezed orange juice into your diet will see your vitamin C levels rise.
Red Peppers
The red pepper is actually a much stronger source of Vitamin C than our friend the orange. Use them raw in salads for their highest potency. After the red pepper and the orange, the following are the most potent: Grapefruit, Kiwi fruit and Green pepper.

Ruddy cheeks, uneven tone, skin lacking firmness or lustre due to accumulated sun-damage, the effects of smoking or age, all signal a complexion crying out for some extra vitamin C. Nature’s prime collagen promoting, radiance boosting, skin protecting nutrient is just one of the key ingredients in Skin Vit C, a supplement in Advanced Nutrition Programme’s Skin range, designed to support healthy, fabulous skin.
