BFREE of all doubt about good Gluten-free bread with these yummy recipes

If you like to eat Gluten-free like me either through necessity or through choice you'll know how incredibly difficult it is to find something even close to bread. Well i have the answer - B Free! I tried a selection of B Free rolls and wraps this week and i can't tell you how happy i was. They're just like bread.....JUST LIKE BREAD! Its a miracle!

So i asked the guys at B Free to send me some sandwich recipes to share with you so you can try them out at home too. I'm telling you, you're going to be SO HAPPY!!

BFree Asian Salmon Wrap (with BFree Multigrain Wrap) – Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 4 x 180g salmon cooked

  • ½ cucumber, sliced

  • Head of lettuce, diced

  • 200g cooked rice

  • 2 radish, sliced

  • 4 tbsp. Soy sauce (to taste)

  • 4 tbsp. Rice wine vinegar

  • 4 tsp sesame seed

  • 4 BFree Multigrain Wraps

Method

  1. Combine the radish, cucumber and lettuce in a small bowl

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the rice wine vinegar and soy sauce

  3. Lay the four BFree Multigrain Wraps onto a flat surface. Divide the rice and place in the centre of each BFree Wrap

  4. Top each portion of rice with a piece of salmon and a portion of the vegetable mixture

  5. Drizzle the soy sauce mixture over each portion of vegetables

  6. Sprinkle each with 1 teaspoon sesame seeds. Wrap the edges of the BFree wraps around the filling completely to serve

Falafel & Hummus with Mediterranean Vegetables (in BFree Multigrain Wrap) – Serves 4

Ingredients

For the Falafel (makes 30-32 falafels):

  • 1 cup dried chickpeas or 16 oz can of chickpeas or garbanzo beans

  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 3 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tsp dried coriander

  • 1 tsp dried cumin

  • 2 tbsp flour

  • Salt and pepper

  • Oil for frying

For the Wrap

  • 4 BFree Multigrain Wraps

Method

For the Falafel:

  1. Place dried chickpeas in a bowl, covering with cold water. Allow to soak overnight. Omit this step if using canned beans

  2. Drained chickpeas, and place in pan with fresh water, and bring to a boil for 5 mins, then simmer on low heat for about an hour. Omit this step if using canned beans.

  3. Drain and allow to cool. Omit this step if using canned beans

  4. Combine chickpeas, garlic, onion, coriander, cumin, salt and pepper (to taste) in a medium bowl and add flour

  5. Mash or combine ingredients in a food processor until a thick paste

  6. From the mixture into small balls and flatten slightly

  7. Fry 5/6 at a time in 2 inches of oil at 350 degrees until golden brown (5-7 minutes) and serve hot

For the Wrap

  1. Soften the courgette and red peppers in a little oil in a frying pan

  2. Place 5 to 6 falafels and the veg in the wrap, roll up and serve with hummus on the side

Chicken Quesadillas (with BFree Multigrain Wrap) – Serves 4

Ingredients

Makes 2 Quesadillas

  • 2 chicken breast sliced

  • Fajita seasoning

  • 2 diced peppers

  • 1 package of grated cheese (red or white cheddar)

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • 2 large tomatoes diced

  • 4 BFree Multigrain Wraps

  • Non-stick spray

Method

  1. Cook the chicken thoroughly

  2. Sauté the onions, garlic and peppers until soft

  3. Add the chicken and seasoning and stir well to combine with vegetables

  4. Spray a cold skillet with the non-stick spray and heat over medium heat

  5. Place a BFree Multigrain Wrap in the pan and sprinkle with 2 tbsp of cheese

  6. Cover with another BFree wrap and cook on the pan for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown

  7. Flip the quesadilla over and cook for an additional 2 minutes

  8. Remove from the heat, sprinkle with cheese and cut into wedges
