If you, like me, are finding it hard to stay healthy when out with friends for dinner or picking up a quick bite in town while on the go, fret no more. I have some exciting, and more importantly, some tasty news for you...

Milano Ireland introduce a new Gluten Free Doughball option

Milano Ireland just launched the new Spring Summer menu including my guilty pleasure Gluten-Free Dough Balls - joining a wide range of gluten-free dishes already available at Milano and a new summery Leggera Superfood Salad is a nutritious treat and under 500 calories.

Gluten-Free Dough Balls (GF, V) €4.45

Milano has proved popular with its gluten-free and coeliac guests since 2013 when the first gluten-free bases were introduced to restaurants. Since then, one of the top requests from guests has been for gluten-free Dough Balls. After years of tasting the gluten-free Dough Balls to ensure they are as good as the original, Milano is ready to introduce delicious, light and airy Gluten-free Dough Balls to the nation. Perfect when accompanied by Milano’ classic garlic butter.

Leggera Superfood Salad (V, GF) €13.75

Our new, ultimate superfood salad is a source of fibre and protein, low in saturated fat and full of flavour. A superfood mix of green lentils, black rice, edamame beans, red quinoa, chickpeas, cranberries, pumpkin seeds and kale in a flavoursome vinaigrette on a bed of seasonal mixed leaves, rocket, cucumber, roasted red & yellow peppers, red onion and fresh parsley with our light house dressing. Add chicken or salmon for an extra €1.95. Also available as a side dish portion to accompany the meal.
