Myself and my gorgeous fella fell in love with Sardinia a long time ago. We spent 10 days there and stayed in a local Agriturismo on the East Coast of the Island. It had been recommended by my sister and her new Fiance (now her husband).......she said it was the most romantic place on earth. She had just gotten engaged there, once again to her now husband so perhaps was in the throes of young love, but we decided to find out for ourselves no less......and yes, we fell in love too!

Now North Sardinia is reinforcing itself as the hottest holiday destination of choice for 2106 thanks to latest resreach by Skyscanner unveiled this month, proclaiming Cala Corsara in Northern Sardinia the number one ‘Best Beach in Italy’.

Delphina Hotels and Resorts, a collection of four and five star properties dotted along the azure coastline of Northern Sardinia, offer the perfect base from which to explore some of Italy’s most impressive beachside locations.

Dotted close to the stunning Costa Smeralda, each of the Delphina Resorts has its own Wellness Centre and Thalassotherapy Spa on-site. Delphina’s Wellness Centres draw natural sea water for their pools and treatments, thanks to the uncontaminated sea of Sardinia and the currents of the Bonifacio Straits. Treatments from the Thalassotherapy menu include essential oils from the aromatic herbs of Sardinia

Cala Corsara, based on the island of Spargi and one of the pearls of the La Maddalena Archipelago, sits sparkling across the water from Delphina Hotels & Resorts whilst Spiaggia del Principle on the glamorous Costa Smeralda is just moments away.

With a prestigious fleet of boats and yachts, guests staying at the resorts can choose from a variety of sailing excursions to soak up the Sardinian sun in style and experience some of the jewels in Italy’s crown.

How to Book: Delphina Hotels have six hotels along the Sardinian coastline so prices vary from one to another, but start on average at about €176 per room per night for a Couple sharing.
